History of the Greenwood Mercantile Established by Sandee Millett in March of 1998, Greenwood Mercantile is located in a turn-of-the-century building that was originally used as a post office. Greenwood's original train depot stands at the back of the Mercantile's property, and the original depot sign hangs in the store (see photo above). The location later became a general store and has been an antique store since the early 1980s. Sandee’s goal for the antique store is to maintain her long-standing reputation of customer service and quality merchandise. The shop offers extended hours to accomodate customers. “If you’re going to do anything well, you have to put in the extra effort,” she says. Come and experience Greenwood Mercantile today!
